RépondreSupprimerIt's interesting listening to some of these 1953 recordings you can hear the Jazz/R&B influences that in a couple of years time would find their way into Rock & Roll when that genre errupted.
RépondreSupprimerI agree with you, even before 53, and I also think of the Blues which is at the base, even also the importance of gospel, a desire to listen again to the whole series of vocal jazz from this whole period... Thanks Bob !
